Dante is one of the main protagonists of the Devil May Cry franchise, serving as the main protagonist of the Sparda Saga. He is the son of legendary demon rebel Sparda, the twin brother to Vergil and uncle of Nero. As a demon-human hybrid he works as a paranormal investigator and mercenary who hunts down demons and protects the innocent from evil. In the Japanese version he is voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa (who also voiced Minato Namikaze from Naruto), in most of his appearances and by Hiroki Suz
